Join our team and you’ll be responsible for working with a wide range of businesses to discover and solve their hiring challenges. As a UX Designer with Tecoloco you will work within the UX Team supporting the Product, Tech, and Marketing teams in delivering the product roadmaps and producing best-in-class, customer-focused user interfaces for our 2 brands in the regional markets across The Caribbean, and Central America.

Your responsibilities:
• Produce best in class-cutting edge graphics designed to optimize user interaction
• Work with the Marketing department to define assets and collateral
• Work across multiple products and brands
• Bring strong design, conceptual, and problem-solving skills to translate business needs and user goals into simple yet meaningful graphics, user interfaces, and flows
• Assess data from multiple sources (product requirements, technical constraints, UX research, web analytics, competitive assessments, etc.) and synthesize it to develop effective solutions
• Work with Product & Technical teams to assess the feasibility of implementing solutions and provide continuous support during implementation
• Communicate and present deliverables (graphics, wireframes, user flows, prototypes, designs, etc.) to colleagues and key stakeholders within the company
• Develop graphics and UI for Tecoloco.com international websites
• Ensure the quality of designs is maintained through product development and implementation
• Work with cross-functional teams (customer service, marketing, product, engineering, QA, etc.) to define product requirements and convert these into balanced solutions

Your skills and qualifications
• Adobe Creative Suite, UI|UX Design : 2+ years
• Knowledge of XD, InVision, Balsamiq
• Experience with CMS such as WordPress
• Strong understanding of graphic and UI design principles
• Knowledge of responsive web design principles, HTML, CSS, jQuery, and sensitivity to accessibility and web standards
• Ability to work on own initiative and independently
• Outstanding communication (written and verbal), presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand customer needs, motivations, and behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables
• Ability to successfully execute multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Passionate about user experience and design
• A strong portfolio showing examples of design work, demonstrating experience and relevant graphic and user-centered UI designs and solutions
• Experience with web services, social media, e-commerce & mobile. Designing for customer-facing products or e-commerce products. Working with cross-functional teams (customer service, marketing, product management, engineering, product owners & QA, etc.)
