Data Analyst (Manual/Automated Data Collection and Visualization)

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Accounting Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (specifically Power BI) and Excel.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new data collection tools and platforms.
• Strong written and spoke English skills

Experience:
•2-4 years of experience in data collection, cleaning, and visualization

Key Responsibilities:
• Support an airline credit analysis team with collecting and structuring data necessary for tables and metrics that will provide real time KPIs on the airlines we cover – this work will be a key input for ACPs and will free up the time of the report writing team members to focus on writing the commentary for ACPs
• Collect unstructured and structured data manually from online sources, including government websites, aviation databases, and other relevant platforms, sources to include US DoT Data and data from the aeronautical authority of all other countries – once the sources and content available has been established, it may be possible to automate the collection of a lot of this data
• Clean, organize, and input collected data into the company’s database.
• Create data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, or Excel to highlight trends and insights.
• Ensure data accuracy and maintain proper documentation of sources.
• Build a database of airline hedging strategies
•Email the ACP report of each airline that airline’s CEO/CFO to solicit that feedback/opinion
