We are looking a Bilingual professional for supporting the LATAM Regional Controller this person ensures compliance with general accounting principles, oversee balance sheet and P&L control and analysis of multiples entities, and manage financial statements consolidation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with general accounting principles and company policies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Oversee and manage balance sheet and P&L control and analysis of multiples entities.
• Consolidate and report financial statements accurately and timely.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist and coordinate external audit activities.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Assist in the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor budget vs. actual performance and analyze variances.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles.
• Experience dealing with multiple countries in the Central America region is preferred.
• Previous experience in an accounting firm is a plus.
Skills:
• Proficient in Spanish (native) and English (advanced).
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems; implementation experience is a significant advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
