We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team.

We are a fast growing Texas insurance agency with locations across the state. As an Entry Level Account Payable Assistant at Ai United, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our data records. We’re seeking individuals with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable transactions, including invoices and expense reports.
• Review and verify invoices and payment requests for accuracy.
• Reconcile monthly credit card statements.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams regarding payment inquiries.
• Support the finance team with additional tasks as needed.
• Provide support in auditing financial records and resolving account discrepancies.
• Assist in managing company budgets and expense tracking to improve financial accuracy.
• Prepare and file end-of-year taxes for all company locations, including processing 1099s and handling retentions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar role is a plus.
• Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and Word.
• Experience handling end-of-year tax filings, including 1099s and retentions.

Benefits:
• $4.50 per hour.
• 100% remote work.
• Work schedule: Monday to Friday. Saturday Availability required.
